First we need to determine if the car donation is a running car, junk car or a car that is worth being fixed. This all depends on a few different variables including what may be wrong with the car and what the perceived value of the car would be once it is fixed! This analysis will help us to decide what will be the best option for selling the car donation for the highest dollar for the charity of your choice.

Step 3: You car donation is prepared for sale: If the car that you donate is in good running condition, it will be washed and any repairs needed will be taken care of. If you car donation is not running but perceived to have a high value if we fix it, we take care of all necessary repairs mechanic or aesthetic to ensure that the car will be sold for the highest dollar amount possible. If your car donation is determined to be a junk car, all working parts will be removed and cleaned for sale. Also, the scrap metal in the body, frame and non-working parts will be removed and cleaned for sale.

Step 4: Your car donation is sold: If your car was repaired or already in good condition, it will be sold at auction in most cases. In some cases, it may be sold to used car sales companies as well. If the car was stripped, the different parts will be sold either to consumers or a junkyard. The scrap metal will be sold and recycled.
