Lutheran Medical Center Foundation

For more than 100 years, Lutheran Medical Center has been advancing the art of healing and the science of medicine throughout metro Denver. Today, Lutheran offers a comprehensive spectrum of specialized care, from birth to end-of-life. Every patient can be assured of receiving the highest standard of care. Lutheran’s national accreditations include Level III Trauma, Level III Neonatal, Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Centers of America and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Pathway to Excellence designation. The hospital’s employees, physicians and volunteers have helped Lutheran earn recognition from numerous local and national ratings agencies, including being named among the top 5 percent of hospitals, and among the top 15 hospital systems as part of the Denver-area SCL Health hospitals.

Even with our amazing recognition and awards, there are still pressing needs at Lutheran Medical Center that cannot be met through normal operating budgets. Founded in 2007, Lutheran Medical Center Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization) was created to build philanthropic support to meet the changing healthcare needs of our community, to update and refurbish our facilities, and to add new technologies and innovative programs and services. Lutheran Medical Center has identified a number of priority needs for the community’s health. While we continue to partner with healthcare providers, patients and community members to help Lutheran Medical Center maintain its excellence in all service areas, we are especially focused on a few major programs.

These and other important programs make Lutheran Medical Center one of the nation’s top hospitals and ensure that high-quality medical care remains available to our community.
