Dominican Sisters Home Health Agency

Dominican Sisters Home Health Agency of Denver, Inc. is a charity unique to and located in the heart of Denver! The mission was started in Denver in 1923 by the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor, Sisters who were nurses and cared for the needy in their homes. Today, as Dominican Sisters Home Health Care (DSHHA), our lay nursing staff continues to provide FREE, quality, in-home and community-based nursing care, medical equipment loans and related services to the poor, sick, and elderly who are uninsured or underinsured and without other resources, so they may remain safe, healthy and independent in their own homes – avoiding or even delaying placement in a nursing home.
