Assistance to those in need and promoting self-sufficiency

Jeffco Action Center is a non profit organization whose mission is to provide an immediate response to basic human needs and to promote pathways to self sufficiency.

Jeffco Action Center helps residents of Jefferson County with such things as a five-day supply of food from the food bank, clothing from the clothing bank, shelter in our 20 bed homeless shelter. In addition, we assist with personal care items, limited financial assistance with rent/deposit/utilities, medical assistance, tenant landlord counseling and much more.

Proceeds from this program will help us buy food for our food bank, personal care items such as soap, shampoo and toiler paper. We currently see an average of 115 households everyday and distribute well over one ton of food daily or  300 bagsof groceries.
