Emergency Family Assistance Association

Since 1918, the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) has been the community safety net for families who have nowhere else to turn when they can’t meet their basic needs. In Boulder and Broomfield Counties, we provide support to families, people with disabilities, and seniors by providing assistance with food, shelter, rent assistance, utilities, minor medical expenses, transportation, furniture, and resource referrals.

It is our mission to help those in our community whose immediate need for food, shelter and other basic necessities cannot adequately be met by other means, and supports their efforts toward financial stability or self-sufficiency. Our vision is building a more caring community and a brighter future for our neighbors in need. EFAA consists of a dedicated Board of Directors, a staff of approximately 20, and hundreds of committed volunteers without whom this work could not be done.  We are honored by the support we receive from the community in which we work.

Your donation will help us give a hand up to others when their life has taken a downturn.  Rest assured we use our funds wisely to ensure the most possible goes to providing service.
