Earth Explorers

Earth ExplorersTM is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. The mission of Earth Explorers is to cultivate big dreams and help students turn them into reality by demystifying science and technology. Our vision is to create a diverse community prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Earth Explorers has developed three distinct middle school level programs that are offered in partnership with Boulder County and St. Vrain Valley schools. The three programs are Quest (6th grade), Voyage (7th grade) and Expedition (8th grade). Students participate in Earth Explorers programs largely during elective blocks where
they work daily with their teacher and participate in extracurricular activities, such as field trips, videography workshops and editing sessions.

OUR VALUES

We value underrepresented youth: We serve and support young people who may be first in their families to finish high school and attend college, by giving them experiences that create concrete possibilities and paths for them to become scientists and engineers.

We value accessible science and technology: We seek to demystify science and technology for young people who are not exposed to these in their daily lives.

We value high expectations: We teach responsibility, resiliency, creativity and hope in all our work with young people.

Earth Explorers is an intensive program requiring costs that are not in the budget of public schools that serve underrepresented students. We need your help to make Earth Explorers possible. Your generous donation will enable us to assist the youth in our community to achieve their dreams.
