Colorado Civil Air Patrol Foundation

The Colorado Civil Air Patrol Foundation is a nonprofit corporation with an office in Centennial, Colorado.  The Foundation is headed by a volunteer board of directors that is charged with providing philanthropic support to assist in meeting the educational and training goals of the members of the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.  The Colorado Wing is a division of Civil Air Patrol (“CAP”) a nonprofit national organization chartered by Congress. The Foundation is an entity separate from CAP and the Colorado Wing of CAP.

The Foundation was formed to support the three missions of Civil Air Patrol.  Through the Foundation, Colorado’s cadets (youth members) and adult officers are able to participate in many important Colorado and national Civil Air Patrol activities.  CAP has a distinguished history of providing essential search and rescue resources to Colorado citizens and visitors.  Today, this also extends to Colorado’s share of Homeland Security.  CAP introduces young men and women not only to the excitement of flying and space, but also to the responsibilities, decision-making, and leadership required in every aspect of CAP’s activities and it serves them well as future leaders at the local, state, and national level.

Your generous donation will help us to carry out our mission – to provide financial support to members of the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol to enhance its youth and adult programs in emergency services, community involvement, public awareness, leadership, scholarship, and aviation and space education.
