Mother Cabrini Shrine

Mother Cabrini Shrine was originally a summer camp set up for the orphan girls at the Queen of Heaven Orphanage in Denver, CO, which Mother Cabrini started. She bought this land in 1909 as a summer escape for the girls. Mother Cabrini was the first American Citizen Saint and is known as the Patron Saint of Immigrants.

Mother Cabrini Shrine has many peaceful areas for our visitors to enjoy and take time for personal reflection. Some of the highlights of Mother Cabrini Shrine include our Main Chapel, Grotto Chapel, Stairway of Prayer, Walking Rosary, Meditation Walkway, Ten Commandments, Mysteries of the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, our Natural Spring, Gift Shop, Cabrini Museum, Stained Glass Windows and our Heart of Stones.

Mother Cabrini Shrine is a nonprofit religious organization and we are self-supporting. We rely on donations and sales from our gift shop as well as generous financial support from visitors, friends, businesses, corporations and others who wish to promote the mission of the Shrine and carry on the great legacy of St. Frances Cabrini.
